I've created Android app, NaviSMS, for myself and my family as we travel a lot and I thought it'd be nice to have app that will help me with notifying my family and friends that I've successfully arrived at destination. Instead of manually write SMS message or look through messages templates I wanted to simply click one button and let the magic happen
My app is totally free, does not have ads and other annoying stuff - it was initially created for myself but I've decided to publish it on Google Play just in case someone else would benefit from it's cool features. It doesn't charge for roaming or anything more but sending one SMS as you wrote it by hand. It uses only GPS receiver which is worldwide available and free so you don't have to worry at all! A person who receives the message can easily use GPS coordinates contained in it to localize you with accuracy of a few meters by e.g. entering them in Google Maps.
Additionally my app shows current speed, GPS location and altitude just in case you want to know almost everything about your trip parameters.
