Did Google Halo died?

Remember when Kitkat(or Jellybean, not quite remember) was newly release, there is a small ball called "Halo" that can be your kinda-sorta personal assistance? Where did it go? Did Google ended developing Halo? Did it just disappeared out of nowhere?

I tried to Google where did the Google Halo went, but all I come up with, is the Xbox Game Halo.
