Installed Tmobile security update and now stuck on Tmobile screen

So there was a notification for a security update for a tmobile S7. i finally selected to install it, it went to reboot and is now stuck at the Tmobile screen. The blue light indicating is glowing but nothing else is happening. Since there is no removable battery I can't turn this phone off? Is there a way to turn off a nonremovable battery phone off?

this is unrooted stock tmobile phone
