Senior Android Engineer for Travel Site in Berlin – Visa Sponsorship

We are looking for an Android enthusiast who has knowledge of programming on the Android platform. Good candidates will be passionate about emerging mobile technologies and making beautiful and robust apps, while working in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.



Responsibilities

Develop features for our clients Android phone and tablet apps

Participate in innovation, design and architecture of the apps

Ability to diagnose and solve mobile networking performance issues

Effectively communicate your coding solutions and articulate the reasons for your decisions

Work effectively with UI designers who are obsessive about pixel perfection



Required Skills

5+ years experience designing or developing Android apps

BS or higher Computer Science or related field

Fluent in English



Qualifications

Solid programming fundamentals

Proficiency in the Android developer environment and Android developer tools

Experience with network programming and consuming third party APIs
