Email Setup

Good day. This LG Unify phone (on Virgin's custom program) is proving difficult to set up for email. Have set my email address in there, but nothing goes out or comes in, and now that I have messed with several settings am in a real pickle.

Can someone explain how I can remove all previous data and start again from scratch?

Appreciate any input, and thanks in advance.
