OK my beloved Razr Maxx (912) has begun to show early signs of Alzheimer's, I looked at the Razr section of this forum and the last entry was 06/2013, so that answers my first question. Now my next question is has Samsung addressed the poor phone performance of the S3? My daughter recently upgraded to a S5 and out here in the fringe area that I live in, her new S5 while seems a little better than the S3 it still can't hold a candle to my old Razr Maxx(even in its current state). Don't get me wrong I am absolutely amazed an thrilled with how well the S3 does everything else, but being 53 years old and very hard to get along with, I still buy a phone for actual phone call reception 1st and foremost, and all the other goodies are icing on the cake. Several of my friends(and supposed experts) claim that Motorola is king of the phone reception hill. If that s the case then I will have to live with it I guess,(I am not a big fan of phones with non expandable memory) although I must say to be totally honest the S3 has impressed me enough to be seriously considering a Note 4 if the phone problem has been successfully addressed. I have also heard rumors of new Motorola mega-phone Nexus-6, coming soon but have been told that it will not have expandable memory either. Anyway thanks for letting this old man rant a little, any factual input or factual advise will be greatly appreciated.
